Arkansas Children's Certified Application Counselors can help assist families with insurance needs. Arkansas Children's Hospital is an approved Certified Application Organization for the Health Insurance Marketplace with licensed counselors available to assist families with insurance needs. These counselors are licensed by the Arkansas Insurance Department as Certified Application Counselors (CAC). To contact an English or Spanish-speaking counselor, call 501-364-1230.

Yes, a physician referral is required to schedule an appointment with our Cardiology Clinic. Please have your child's primary care provider contact our appointment center at 501-364-4000 to initiate the referral process.

Arkansas Children's Hospital is committed to supporting families traveling from other states or countries. The Regional Care Center helps families traveling from another state or country receive top-quality pediatric care. Our dedicated patient navigators ensure your experience at Arkansas Children's is as comfortable and seamless as possible. We provide:  

  • A single point of contact to help you plan your visit and assist with travel and accommodations as needed
  • A navigator to help coordinate visits between your multidisciplinary care teams throughout your stay
  • Resource connections like financial specialists, interpreters and child life coordinators
