Renee Bornemeier is a Professor of Pediatric Cardiology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) and Arkansas Children’s Hospital (ACH) and is a native Arkansas resident.

In 1998, Dr. Bornemeier completed her doctorate of medicine at UAMS. Subsequently, she performed her pediatric internship and residency at ACH and UAMS. In 1991, she began her fellowship in pediatric cardiology at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. She completed her residency in 1994, returning to Little Rock as a pediatric cardiologist at ACH and UAMS.

Dr. Bornemeier is board certified in Pediatric Cardiology. She is the Director of the Bale Fetal Heart Center at ACH. Her areas of focus and interest are Fetal Echocardiography, cardiac anatomy, and pediatric echocardiography. Her professional memberships include the American College of Cardiology, American Heart Association, and the American Society of Echocardiography.
