Dr. Tewar is a Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrician at UAMS Dennis Developmental Center and ACH Cardiac Neurodevelopmental Program. Dr. Tewar performs neurodevelopmental assessments with children with complex CHD in the ACH CNP and multidisciplinary Fontan clinics. Her research interests include neurodevelopmental and behavioral outcomes of children with complex CHD, transition readiness for adolescents with CHD and Social determinants of health affecting health outcomes in children and families with CHD. 

Dr. Tewar works with children and families to identify their priorities concerning child development and behavior. She feels the best way to provide care is to give families tools, educate them and empower them to partner with people (school, therapists, primary care team) to access the resources needed to optimize their child’s development.
