(LITTLE ROCK, Arkansas) Nov. 1, 2024 | The Nabholz Charitable Foundation has generously donated $1 million towards Arkansas Children’s Hospital’s historic expansion project.

Nabholz has been a long-standing partner of Arkansas Children's since the 1970s, when founder Bob Nabholz joined the Arkansas Children’s Board of Directors. More than 50 years later, they have consistently championed children through philanthropic support and volunteer service. In addition, four of Nabholz' executive team members have served as board members.

"We are honored to call Nabholz a trusted partner for nearly half of Arkansas Children's history," said Fred Scarborough, executive vice president and chief development officer at Arkansas Children's. “Their dedication to safety and community-building aligns perfectly with Arkansas Children’s core values. Both organizations share a deeply rooted commitment to improving the lives of children. This shared vision has nurtured a partnership that has stood the test of time.”

With the Nabholz gift, companies, individuals and organizations have donated $12.1 million toward the $253.2 million expansion project at ACH. The Nabholz gift amount was included within the previously reported total in a press release sent July 22, 2024. Jake Nabholz, CEO of Nabholz Corporation, serves as chairman of the Arkansas Children’s Foundation Board of Directors.

“This year marks our company’s 75th anniversary, and I cannot think of a better way to celebrate,” said Nabholz. “Our purpose is to grow our people, serve our clients, and build our communities. This gift reflects our ongoing commitment to our communities as Arkansas Children’s continues its legacy of excellent pediatric healthcare.”

From its founding as an orphanage in 1912 to becoming a nationally acclaimed pediatric health care system, Arkansas Children's has remained steadfast in its commitment to being a champion for children.
