Family Facilities in the PICU

Every aspect of the Reynolds PICU is designed to involve families in their child's care. From the waiting room amenities to the bedside sleepers, our new facilities were created to be as comfortable as possible for the families of critically ill children.

• 3 Bathrooms, 2 with showers
• Family consultation rooms
• Family lockers
• Kitchenette/vending area
• Lactation room
• Laundry facility
• Plush couches and sleeper chairs
• Private telephone booths

Support Areas for the PICU Team

In addition to nursing stations, restrooms and equipment rooms within the unit, the Reynolds PICU will include a team lounge and lockers; adjacent office space for nursing, research, social workers and other team members; and private sleep rooms for attending physicians and on-call fellows and residents.
