About the CHCS

CHCS offers an outstanding pediatric network that includes Arkansas Children's Hospital and over 300 primary care and specialty providers engaged in providing comprehensive pediatric services for children.

CHCS obtains managed care contracting opportunities using a standing-offer messenger model. Currentlyn CHCS administers and manages a portfolio of over 30 managed care agreements that are arranged with direct employers, HMOs, PPOs, third party administrators and others. The number of covered pediatric lives represented by these contracts is over 400,000.

Other services provided by CHCS include provider credentialing consistent with standards of the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA), and specified functions in the area of utilization management.
