The General Pediatric Clinic provides diagnosis, treatment and/or follow-up of children with general health problems. We provide preventive medicine, including periodic immunizations, physical examinations, positive newborn screens and child health maintenance. We also provide appropriate subspecialty referrals when necessary. This clinic is for patients who have a primary care provider in the General Pediatric Clinic; this is not a walk-in clinic.
“NCQA Patient-Centered Medical Home Recognition raises the bar in defining high-quality care by emphasizing access, health information technology and coordinated care focused on patients,” said NCQA President Margaret E. O’Kane. “Recognition shows that Arkansas Children's Primary Care Clinics (Adolescent, General Pediatric Clinic, Circle of Friends, Southwest Clinic) has the tools, systems and resources to provide its patients with the right care, at the right time.”
