In all we do, our focus at Arkansas Children's is working to meet the needs of children and their families to restore children to health, avoid preventable injuries and promote good health practices. From our early roots as a home for orphaned children, through our early years as a place for children with burn or orthopedic needs, to our role today as the pediatric health safety net for the children of Arkansas, we work to provide outstanding clinical care, prepare professionals to serve children in the future and to collaborate with others in the community to improve the health status of children in our state.

Our community benefit strategy is based on our triennial Community Health Needs Assessments and involves a multi-faceted approach to using our time, talent, and resources to improve the lives of children and their families.
